Who We Are
History
In 1940, Mr. David Olloqui López de Munillas , a tailor by profession, began his textile manufacturing business in his home. Between 1940 and 1957, the company grew to become established with a workforce of 14 people and an annual production of 3,500 garments.
In 1973, the company was established under the name Confecciones Olloqui SA, with a share capital of 12 million pesetas and four shareholders. In 1999, it was transformed into the current Confecciones Senior SA. Since its establishment, the company has experienced significant growth, currently employing around 400 people. This growth has been accompanied by an expansion and diversification of the facilities, as well as a significant increase in the range of products and collections.
Despite its growth, Confecciones Senior SA maintains its family character and its self-financing policy, which gives it total autonomy in decision-making. The company is run by Mr. David Olloqui Martínez, son of the founder and a graduate in Economics, and by his son, Mr. David Olloqui López-Dávalos, who is in charge of the design, photography and this website department.
Today
Today, our company has established itself nationally in the clothing market, with an annual turnover of 12 million Euros. We have a staff of 400 direct employees. Our headquarters are located in Laguardia (Álava), where the Management, Administration, and Design and Pattern-making departments are located, as well as part of our production.
Clients and Market
We have approximately 600 clients in Spain, including prestigious groups such as El Corte Inglés. Our clients are mainly high-end and mid-high-end boutiques, competing with well-known brands such as Caramelo, Burberrys and Florentino. Our main markets are Spain and France, with contacts initiated in Arab countries, Sweden and Finland.
Design, Pattern Making and Manufacturing
We are a comprehensive company in the clothing sector, covering the entire production and creative process. All our designs are our own, developed by a Design department with four people. We also have our own Pattern-making and technical departments. We control the entire manufacturing process, from the purchase of raw materials to the dispatch of products, which allows us to ensure quality and punctuality.
We carefully select each material that makes up our collections, using noble and high-quality materials from the best manufacturers in the world. We travel to international fairs to keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the sector.
Collections
We specialise in the mass production of men's outerwear, such as suits, blazers, parkas, jackets and coats. We have also developed products in other areas, such as shirts and trousers, creating a “total look” image for our Buccino collection.
We have recently launched a line of women's outerwear, with trench coats, parkas, windbreakers and jackets, which is having an excellent reception.
Each brand offers unique products:

We present two annual collections per brand: Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. We adapt our collections to the needs of each country, in continuous collaboration with our sales representatives.
Marketing
Our marketing is based on the presentation of collections through independent professionals. In Spain, we work with independent sales representatives, and abroad, with various types of agreements, such as exclusive agents and distributors.
Our agents are supported by a dynamic and enthusiastic sales team, who work closely with them. Our premise is to offer personalized customer service, with high quality products and guarantees.
Our goal is to create collections designed for our customers, adapting to their needs and ensuring their total satisfaction. To achieve this, our sales team is always at your disposal.
